When you add this product to your cart, you will be redirected to a page where you may enter the details of the gift certificate. You have the choice of e-mailing the gift certificate, as a gift, directly to the recipient, or you may choose to request a printed gift certificate mailed to the shipping address specified during the checkout process.
The recipient may use a gift certificate by applying the gift certificate to their account. Once the gift certificate is applied to their account, it will automatically be used in any purchases made through that account. The recipient may apply the gift certificate to their account in any of the following ways:
- By entering the gift certificate code on the "Order Review" screen during checkout
- By visiting http://www.yourdomain.com/redeem/
- By visiting their "My Account" manager and clicking on "Apply a gift certificate to your account"
- By visiting their "My Account" manager and viewing an order recently placed, that has not been locked yet, and applying the gift certificate to that order (which also gets applied to their account).
Shipping gift certificate orders involves no special handling, as we will process the order as normal, and when you click the "Complete Order / Send Emails" link, the gift certificate will be sent to the recipient via e-mail. Or if it is a printed gift certificate, a link will appear on that page that allows you to "print the gift certificate".
The recipient may view their current remaining gift certificate balance by logging into their "My Account" manager and clicking "View gift certificate balance".
