Gear box primary drive -MALOSSI- Morini 50cc AC & LC (since 1999) - 15/40 = 2.67:1 To fit a new and longer geared box does make a lot of sense when the power output of your engine is higher than the stock item. With longer gearbox ratios you can transform the power of your engine unit in higher top speeds. Additionally your cylinder and the rest of the engine are not so stressed because of the lower revs now. To fit a higher gear ratio to a standard engine is not recommended because most of the standard engines are not powerful enough to pull the gear box anymore.

This works great along with my new 70cc kit. Keep in mind that you'll need to press these gears yourself. I bought a 1 ton arbor press and with a bit of muscle it didn't take long to get the old gear / bearing separated and the new stuff put together.
