Features
Unleash a minimum of 14% more horse power from your factory ECU

Derestricting the factory ECU is the first step to improving the performance of your SR50. The restriction limits performance to meet European standards and is not necessary here in the US. Performance parts have little to no affect until this is performed as the RPM necessary for performance pipes to operate best is unable to be reached. If your SR50 cannot reach 8000-9000 rpm chances are your ECU is still running the factory restricted software.

Performance: 14% + more horse power = Faster acceleration and higher top speed
Convenience: With our OBPA (Off Board Programming Adapter) we do not need your SR50, only the ECU
Drivability: Improved drivability over the factory program

A minimum of 14% more horse power was achieved by changing the factory ECU program to its unrestricted mode. A much higher horse power gain can now be achieved with bolt-on performance parts.

Fantastic turnaround time, ECU, red clutch springs, white Malossi variator spring and 7 gram rollers installed the day after they arrived.
Scooter flies! No flat spots at all, accelerates hard, ran out of road at 50 mph with plenty left.
I would recommend your organization to anyone. Even the packaging is professionally done.

I added this at the same time as the fuel/air regulator, both made a noticable difference.  Crisper acceleration and more top end speed.  Now I can stay in the flow of traffic easier and not hold up traffic.  Still getting great mpg too.  This makes my Aprilia a lot more fun.  Wish I did this when I first got the bike.

Super quick turn around! September 11, 2009

I sent my ECU out on a Monday and had it back Friday. My dealer wanted $140.00 to do the same thing I paid $30.00 for from HGT. My 09 runs so much better and the factory sputter is now gone. I'll be back for a pipe next. Thanks HG
